You are always welcome onboard while we're docked, free of charge! Come and explore the deck, the bridge, and even the engine room if you're not afraid of getting a bit dirty. By stepping on the Sprengaren you are becoming a part of the history of the world’s only remaining self propelled military steamship from World War I! There is almost always a member of the crew onboard willing to have a chat, show you around and share her story with you.
We only charge for our tours in order to gather contributions towards the fuel and maintenance of the Sprengaren, as it subsists on donations from people who appreciate her history and the value she holds as a living symbol of community and willpower. You can find us on Sjöhistoriska’s peer behind the Vasa Museum, we take a maximum of 24 passengers and a crew of six certified persons. A lecture is held on board for those interested in knowing more about the maritime history of Stockholm, and we also offer a simpler snack, coffee and drink for sale during the trip.
